Geckos B & B is owned and run by wife and husband team Leonie & Roger Johnsen. The B & B has been operating and providing hospitality to our guests since 2005 and we have established ourselves as the place to stay in Coffee Bay. (As voted on Tripadvisor)
We pride ourselves on giving our guests a warm and pleasant experience during their stay with us, with personal attention and service. Accommodation is provided in private, clean, comfortable double rooms with en-suite bathrooms at very affordable rates, with friendly and personal service.
A full breakfast is included in your bed and breakfast rate, comprising a fresh fruit salad, fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals, bacon, eggs cooked to your choice, mushroom, tomato, fried banana (if you like) and hash brown, toast and coffee or tea.
We do not provide lunch time and evening meals. These are available at a number of the restaurants in the area. A self catering option in some units is also available.
Guest rooms are separate from the main residence and each room opens onto a veranda overlooking a lush sub-tropical garden. There are comfortable casual chairs on the veranda outside each room, for you to relax in and enjoy the pretty garden.

Coffee Bay is a small rural seaside village located on the “real” Wild Coast of South Africa. There is no commercial centre and there are no malls, cinemas, beachfront shops and restaurants – no bank or even an ATM – so don’t expect to be entertained by typical city attractions!
It’s a place where people come to experience the unspoiled beauty of the natural coastline , just to “chill”, or to participate in activities ungoverned by technology.
